Berlin: Schalke attacking midfielder Julian Draxler has pulled out of Germany's friendly with Paraguay in Kaiserslautern on Wednesday due to an ankle injury.
The German Football Federation says the 19-year-old Draxler bruised his left Achilles tendon and sustained a cut on his calf during Schalke's 3-3 draw at home with Hamburger SV on Sunday.
Draxler set up Klaas Jan Huntelaar's opening goal in the second minute but had to go off injured in the 23rd.
Germany coach Joachim Loew is not planning on calling up any replacements for the time being.
