Kerala Blasters haven't conceded a goal in the last two matches and are slowly gaining momentum climbing up the table, which has pleased assistant coach Trevor Morgan who is proud of his team's rock solid defence.
"In last two home games, we have managed to keep clean sheets; we got four points and it's not looking that bad at all now. All we can do is work hard in training in the future and keep the boys positive about their scoring and keep working at that," he said.
But the biggest problem for Kerala in the inaugural season of Indian Super League has been scoring goals as their strikers have not performed up to the expectations and have struggled in front of the goal.
When asked about the same, Morgan said, "It's always easier to criticise from the outside but the players don't mean to miss chances, it just happens.
"We have created opportunities consistently but haven't taken them and so we cannot ask much more from the players. We can just hope that in future goals will come, which is not happening at the moment," he added.
Kerala face in-form Mumbai City FC in their 8th match of the season on Wednesday and a win will help them get level on points with the Mumbai, who are currently third on the points table.
