"The AIFF has passed a resolution that we would support Mr. Hammam as he was close to Mr.Dasmunsi (President of the AIFF). Mr. Hammam came to visit India where he met a number of AIFF officials. In April end, he called a meeting in Colombo which was attended by Alberto Colaco and R Khaleel (AIFF Executive committee member). From India, Alberto Colaco and R.Khaleel would travel to Malaysia on the 7th of this month to attend the AFC Congress," said a source.
