Chelsea's Marko Marin off to Sevilla on loan deal
Marin struggled couln't manage to hold a first-team place, so Chelsea decided on a season long loan deal with Sevilla.

London: Winger Marko Marin is leaving for Sevilla on a season long loan from Chelsea, according to media reports.

After Chelsea signed him last summer by paying Werder Bremen £7 million, Marin has struggled for form and couldn't manage to hold a first-team place. The Blues recently roped in Andre Schurrle from Bayer Leverkusen, which gave Marin an opportunity to move to Spain in order to get games in the first team.

Until late January, Marin didn't get a chance to start, when Chelsea played QPR and lost 1-0. He has total of 16 appearances for the club throughout the last season.

Moreover, new boss Jose Mourinho is not keen on retaining the surplus and offloading players keeping in mind of building a new team. But the move to Sevilla provides Marin a chance to ressurect his career.
