The National Testing Agency (NTA) will declare the UGC NET Result 2024 soon on the official website ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The testing agency released the provisional answer for the UGC NET 2023 exam on September 11 and candidates were given a chance to raise objections till September 14, 2024. The NTA will now release the UG NET final answer key prepared after the review of the objections against the provisional answer key by subject experts. A final answer key will be prepared and the UGC NET Result 2024 will declared based on the final key.

“Challenges made by the candidates will be verified by the panel of subject experts. If the challenge of any candidate is found correct, the Answer Key will be revised and applied in the response of all the candidates accordingly. Based on the revised Final Answer Key, the result will be prepared and declared. No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of his/her challenge. The key finalized by the Experts after the challenge will be final,” read the official notice by NTA.
When And Where To Check UGC NET Result 2024?
The National Testing Agency has not announced the time and date for the declaration of the result yet. However, once released, candidates will be able to check and download the UGC NET Result 2024 from the official website -ugcnet.nta.ac.in and nta.ac.in. Candidates will be required to use their application number and date of birth to access the UGC NET June Result 2024.
How To Download UGC NET Result 2024?
Step 1: Visit the official UGC NET website – ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link that reads “UGC NET June 2024 Result Link”
Step 3: In the newly opened tab, enter your application number, date of birth and given code
Step 4: Click on the “Submit” button and your UGC NET Result 2024 will appear on your screen
Step 5: Download the result and save it for future reference
UGC NET Result 2024: Marking Scheme
Each question asked in the UGC NET exam carries two marks. For each correct answer, the candidate will get two marks. There is no negative marking in the exam. The candidate has to choose only one option to answer a question. If a question is found to be wrong or has multiple correct answers, the candidates who have attempted the question and chosen one of the correct answers will be awarded full marks. If a question is found to be wrong and the question is deleted, the candidates who attempted the question will be awarded two marks.
UGC NET Result: Age Limit
There is no upper age limit in applying for UGC-NET for Assistant Professor and admission to PhD. However, the candidate who wishes to receive the JRF award must not be more than 30 years as on the 01st day of the month in which the examination is concluded. A relaxation of up to 5 years is provided to the candidates belonging to OBC-NCL (as per the Central list of OBC available on the website: www.ncbc.nic.in) /SC/ST/PwD/Third gender categories and to women applicants.
