SSC Launches New Website, Urges Candidates to Complete Fresh Registration
The SSC highlights the importance of following the new registration process to ensure seamless communication and application for upcoming exams

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has unveiled a new website – ssc.gov.in, which went live on February 17, 2024, according to a recent notification. However, the commission also mentioned that the existing website will continue to be accessible to the candidates through a link which will be available on the new website.

“The Staff Selection Commission takes pride in announcing the launch of a new website which has been made live on February 17, 2024. The existing website will also be accessible through a link on the new website,” the Staff Selection Commission’s official notification read.

The notification further added, “All candidates are advised to do fresh OTR on the new website of the Staff Selection Commission i.e., https://ssc.gov.in/, as One Time Registration (OTR) previously done on earlier version of commission’s website i.e., https://ssc.nic.in/, stands null and void. The detailed instructions for one time registration may be seen under section ‘For Candidates > Special Instructions > Instructions for filling One Time Registration (OTR).”

“All applications for future examinations are required to be submitted online through new website, i.e., https://ssc.gov.in/, only,” the statement further read.

Here’s How To Register On SSC’s New Website

Step 1: Candidates need to go to the official website of the Staff Selection Commission at ssc.gov.in to register on the new website.

Step 2: Click on the ‘Login or Register’ option available on the portal’s webpage.

Step 3: Now, applicants will have to click on the register button and fill out the required details.

Step 4: Then, they will have to key in their mobile number, and email ID and verify it

Step 5: Once done, save the information and candidates will have to complete registration within 14 days.

Step 6: Post this, log into the account, change the password, provide additional details, agree to the declaration, and click on the submit button.

Step 7: Upon successful submission, candidates will be redirected to the dashboard.

Meanwhile, various new examination websites have been launched this year such as sites for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET), University Grants Commission National Entrance Test (UGC NET), Common University Entrance Test (CUET) PG, among others.
