Due to excessive heat, schools in Andhra Pradesh might close for summer vacations earlier this year. Furthermore, with the upcoming general elections, teachers will have to participate in several duties like setting up polling stations. For this reason, the authorities have decided to give summer holidays to the students from April 23 in Andhra Pradesh.

This time, the summer holidays will likely continue from April 23 to June 13. However, no official announcement has been made by the govt yet. This time, there is a possibility that summer vacations will take place for about 50 days.

The AP SSC class 10 exams will be held on March 18, 19, 20, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, and 30 in the morning shift from 9:30 am, and for the students of other classes, exams will be conducted from noon to 1 pm. The evaluation process for SSC exams will start soon and the authorities are gearing up to announce the results of the class 10th exam by the second weekend of April. Besides, as the teachers will have election duties, the authorities are preparing to announce the results before the elections begin.

The AP SSC exams will end on March 30. As many as 6.3 lakh students appeared for the class 10 board examinations on its first day. The Visakhapatnam district collector stated that 138 examination centres have been identified for the conduct of 10th board examinations, out of which 48 are ‘A’ category centres, 81 ‘B’ category centers, and 9 ‘C’ category centres. Around 138 chief superintendents, 138 departmental officers, and 1,258 invigilators have been appointed for the examination centres.

Students writing class 10th exams have been provided free transport facilities in APSRTC buses based on the hall ticket. It has been made clear that students are not allowed to bring any electronic devices to the examination centres. He said there would be a special QR code on the exam question papers to prevent leaks and track irregularities.
