The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has released the provisional answer key for the Combined Recruitment Examination (CRE) Mains 2023. All the candidates who appeared for the examination can download the provisional answer key from the official website at ossc.gov.in by entering their login credentials such as username, mobile number and password or OTP. The deadline to raise objections is August 8. The provisional answer key will help the candidates to calculate their estimated scores.
The OSSC CRE Mains recruitment exam aims to fill up a total of 381 vacancies for various posts including Junior Mining Officer, Tracer and Junior MVI.
How to download the OSSC CRE Mains 2023 Provisional Answer Key?
Step 1: Head to the official website, ossc.gov.in.
Step 2: On the homepage, look for the OSSC CRE 2023 Mains Answer Key link and click on it.
Step 3: Key in your login details such as username, mobile number or email ID and password.
Step 4: After logging in, the OSSC CRE 2023 Mains Provisional Answer Key will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Download it and carefully review the answer key.
Step 6: If you have any objections, submit them through the official website before the deadline along with supporting documents.
“All candidates may note that an objection is decided based on the merit. How many candidates have submitted the objections has no bearing on its outcome. So, if one candidate has filed an objection about a question and any new facts or arguments are not added, there is no need to submit the same objection again,” the OSSC’s official notice reads.
The board will issue the OSSC CRE 2023 final answer key along with the results after the evaluation of the objections against the provisional answer key. The OSSC CRE Mains exam carried a total of 100 questions. For every right answer, the aspirant will be awarded 2 marks each, while 0.5 marks will be deducted for every wrong attempt.
