The round 2 registration process for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test- Undergraduate (NEET-UG) Counselling will commence by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) today, September 5, 2024. Candidates can register themselves from the official website at mcc.nic.in. The choice-locking process will begin at 4 PM and will end at 11:55 PM on September 10, 2024.
The seat allotment process will be conducted for two days after the choice-locking process, that is September 11 to 12, 2024. The NEET UG 2024 Seat Allotment Result will be announced on September 13, 2024. Selected candidates are supposed to report to the allotted medical institutes and colleges between September 14 to September 20, 2024.
The candidates who enrolled during the first round of MBBS and BDS counselling and were unable to get a seat or failed to report to their assigned seat, are not required to register again. Those enrolling for the first time in round 2 should pay the registration fee and make their choices regarding colleges and courses.
NEET UG Counselling 2024: Eligibility criteria
Candidates who qualify for the examination will be able to register in the second round. Candidates who were allotted a seat in the first round but had their seat cancelled during the document verification process upon reporting for admission, will be considered for the second round, provided there are available seats in the relevant category.
NEET UG Counselling 2024: How to register?
Step 1: Visit the official website of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) — mcc.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the ‘UG Medical’ section.
Step 3: Enter the ‘New Login Registration’ available under the candidate activity board.
Step 4: Enter the login details as asked such as NEET UG roll number, password and security pin.
Step 5: Fill up the application form and submit the application form.
Step 6: Pay the registration fee.
Step 7: Download the copy and take a printout or screenshot of it for future reference.
NEET UG Counselling 2024: Documents required
Candidates are supposed to carry both original and photocopies of the above-mentioned documents for the institute reporting or document verification rounds.

For All India Quota (15 per cent), Deemed, Central Universities, All AIIMS Institutes, JIPMER (Puducherry and Karaikal), MCC will conduct the four rounds of counselling at Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 and Online Stray Vacancy Round.
