The State Common Entrance Test Cell Maharashtra begins the registration process for MHT CET (PCB) and (PCM) 2024 on the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org. This provides students with the chance to apply for undergraduate engineering programmes in Maharashtra through MHT CET PCM 2023, while MHT CET PCB 2024 is tailored for those aspiring to secure admission into medical programmes.
According to the notification released by the CET cell, the MHT CET Physics, Chemistry, and Math (PCM) 2024 examination is scheduled to take place between April 25 and 30 while MHT CET Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) 2024 are scheduled from April 16 to 24. The registration process is set to conclude on March 1. Additionally, the information bulletin outlining details for various BTech and medical programmes will be made available on the official website.
MHT CET 2024: Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for MHT CET PCM and PCB 2024, candidates need to have cleared Class 12 or its equivalent with a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate marks from a recognized board. Those appearing for the exam can also apply, with the requirement to submit the pass certificate during MHT CET counselling if they secure seats. Additionally, individuals with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics are eligible to apply for MHT CET PCM 2024.
Candidates applying for MHT CET PCM and PCB 2024 should either have a domicile in Maharashtra or be born in the state. Moreover, those whose mother or father holds a domicile in Maharashtra, or if one of the parents is a Union Government employee posted in Maharashtra, are also eligible for the exam. Candidates from areas disputed between Maharashtra and Karnataka can also apply for the exam.
MHT CET 2024: How to Apply
Step 1: Go to the official website of MAHACET at cetcell.mahacet.org.
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the notification link that says ‘Maharashtra MHT CET 2024 registration for PCM, PCB groups.’
Step 3: A new page will be displayed on the screen.
Step 4: After completing the registration process, candidates need to log in to their account.
Step 5: Fill in all the required details after logging in.
Step 6: Once done, pay the application fees and submit.
Step 7: Download and keep a printout for future reference.
The CET cell is offering applicants the opportunity to take the MHT CET mock test 2024, which can be accessed online via the official website cetcell.mahacet.org. Upon registration, candidates can attempt the mock test by navigating to the ‘mock test link’ on the MHT CET official portal. Notably, candidates won’t need to enter any login credentials, they just need to click on the ‘sign-in’ button to participate in the MHT CET mock test.
