The Board of Secondary Education, Telangana (TSBSE) has declared the final Class 10 SSC result today, April 30. The official announcement had read that the results will be declared today around 11 AM. Students who took the examination this year can now check their academic results on the official website at bse.telangana.gov.in as the press conference is completed.

This year the TS SSC exams were conducted from March 18 to April 2 and the state board’s stats show that around 5 lakh applicants had registered for the exams.

The Passing Percentage of the Class 10 examination of the Telangana Board last year stood at 86 per cent. Boys received a passing percentage of 84.68 per cent, while girls outperformed them with 88.53 passing percentage.
Additionally, in 2022 around 5.03 lakh students appeared for the exam and the overall passing percentage was recorded at 90 percent. Girls surpassed boys with a passing percentage of 92.45 per cent, while boys scored 87.61 passing percentage.
In 2021, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic in the country, the State Education Board Telangana had canceled the Class 10 exams, resulting in a 100 per cent passing percentage that year. Students were promoted considering their performance in the internal assessment. Instead of marks, all the students were awarded grades.
Similarly, 2020 also recorded a passing percentage of 100 per cent in the Class 10 Telangana Board Examination. The board had cancelled the exams due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation and the resultant lockdown. All the students were promoted considering their internal assessment marks.
Keeping aside the 2020 and 2021 results, 2019 recorded the highest passing percentage in the Class 10 Telangana board examination. Students had scored a pass percentage of 92.43 per cent. Girls scored better than boys with a pass percentage of 93.68 percent while boys scored 91.15 percent.
If you look at the overall pass percentage of the last five years for Telangana SSC exams, it was the lowest in 2023.
