The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will commence the registration process for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) on January 10, 2024. Eligible candidates who are willing to pursue engineering can register for KCET 2024 by visiting the official website of the Karnataka Examinations Authority at kea.kar.nic.in. Candidates are advised to apply before the last date, as no extensions may be granted by KEA.
The Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2024 registration process consists of registration, filling out the KCET application form 2024, uploading scanned documents, payment of the fee, and final submission. It is to be noted by the candidates that the application form will only be available online.
Shifting to the exam pattern, the Karnataka Common Entrance Test consists of four subjects: physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics. Each paper will carry 60 marks. According to reports, the biology, mathematics, and physics papers will be conducted in the morning shift on April 20, whereas the chemistry paper will be held in the afternoon shift on April 21.

Step 1: Candidates need to visit the official website of KEA at kea.kar.nic.into apply for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2024.
Step 2: Then, look for and click on the KCET 2024 registration link available on the homepage.
Step 3: Complete the registration process by entering the required details.
Step 4: Post this, login using the credentials generated at the time of registration.
Step 5: Fill out the KCET application form 2024 by filling up the personal and academic details.
Step 6: Upload the required documents in the prescribed size and format and pay the application fee.
Step 7: Submit the application form after cross-checking the details and print a hard copy for future reference.
As per the official schedule released, the KCET 2024 examination is scheduled to take place offline on April 20 and April 21, 2024. The exam will be held in pen and paper mode. The KCET Kannada language exam will be held on August 19, 2024 at Bengaluru, Bellary, Bidar, Belgaum, Vijayapur, and Mangalore centres for outlying and bordering Kannadiga candidates.
