The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has revised the JEE Advanced 2024 registration dates. The Joint Entrance Examination Advanced 2024 application process which was scheduled to commence on April 21 will now begin on April 27. The last date to apply has been postponed to May 7. The last date for fee payment of registered candidates is May 10.
Those candidates who rank in the top 2.5 lakh and pass the JEE Main 2024 will be able to eligible to register for the JEE Advanced at jeeadv.ac.in. Those willing to apply must have been born on or after October 1, 1999. Candidates from the SC, ST, and PWD categories are granted a five-year age relaxation. Those who wish to apply from this category must have been born on October 1, 1994, or later.
The JEE Advanced 2024 will be held on May 26 as scheduled. The test will be given in two shifts: Paper I is scheduled to take place from 9 am to 12 pm and Paper 2 will be held from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm. The admit card will be available for download from May 17.
The Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2024 online registration will commence on June 9 and conclude on June 10. The AAT test will be held on June 12 in a single shift, from 9 am to 12 pm. The AAT results will be revealed on June 15, 2024. The Joint Seat Allocation (JoSAA) 2024 procedure is expected to commence on June 10. Candidates may get additional information on the official JEE Advanced website.
For admission to IITs, NITs, IIITs, and other universities, students who pass the JEE Advanced must show up for the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) counselling session after the results are made public. JoSAA conducts counselling for a total of 118 institutions. Each year, JoSAA holds up to six rounds of counselling for admission to the various IITs.
