The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the registration deadline for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2024 for undergraduate (UG) courses yet again. The application process was initially scheduled to conclude on March 26 but later extended till March 31. Now, the registration has once again been extended. It will now conclude on April 5 at 9:50 pm.
Furthermore, as per the latest official notice, the application edit window will now remain open on April 6 and 7. Applicants can check the detailed notification and apply for the exam through the official website at exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG.
“The candidates and concerned stakeholders are informed that registration of Common University Entrance Test [CUET (UG)] – 2024 has been extended on request received from candidates and other stakeholders,” the NTA said in its official notice.
The NTA has further stated that “candidates may also use their school/ any other valid government identity card with a photograph to facilitate identification.” They can opt for login and identification for the registration process via the following options:
1. Aadhar card
2. DigiLocker
3. ABC ID
4. Passport
5. Pan Card
6. School/ Any other valid Govt. Identity Card with photograph
CUET UG 2024: How to Apply?
Step 1: Navigate to the official website — exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG.
Step 2: Select the CUET 2024 registration link that is available on the homepage.
Step 3: Fill out the information requested on a new page to sign up.
Step 4: Complete the form online, pay the registration fee and submit the form.
Step 5: Print a copy of the submitted form for your records.
The CUET UG 2024 examination will be administered from May 15 to May 31. It will be held in 380 cities including 26 cities outside India. The score will be used by around 250 universities to determine admission to different first-year degree programmes. There are 33 languages and 27 subjects. A candidate may choose any subject/language as desired by the applicable institute they want to apply for. The exam will be held in hybrid mode. It will be conducted in three shifts — 9 am to 11 am, 12.30 pm to 2 pm, and 4 pm to 5.30 pm
