The National Testing Agency (NTA) will make the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test (CSIR-NET) 2024 results out shortly. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check the result on csirnet.nta.ac.in, CSIR’s official website upon release. The time and date of the announcement of the results have not yet been officially confirmed. NTA will publish the notice for the announcement of the results soon. Upon announcement, candidates can use their application numbers and birth dates to view their results.
CSIR UGC NET 2024: How To Check Result
Step 1: Visit the csirnet.nta.ac.in – CSIR official website.
Step 2: From the homepage, select the “CSIR UGC NET 2024 Results” link.
Step 3: You will be redirected to a new page, enter the necessary information and submit.
Step 4: The CSIR UGC NET Result 2024 will show up on the screen.
Step 5: Download and print the CSIR UGC NET Result 2024 for your records.
CSIR UGC NET 2024: Passing Marks
Candidates, belonging to the General, EWS, and OBC categories, must score at least 33 per cent, while candidates from the SC, ST, and PWD categories must score at least 25 per cent to qualify for the CSIR UGC NET 2024 exam.
This year, the exam took place on July 25, 26 and 27. The exam was administered in two shifts. The exam was held from 9 AM to 12 PM on the first day and from 3 PM to 6 PM on the second day. While on July 27, the exam took place on the first shift only. The test was given by 2,25,335 candidates at 348 locations throughout 187 cities.
On August 8, the recorded responses, question paper, and provisional answer key were released. From August 9 to 11, candidates were able to object to the answer key by paying an amount of Rs 200 for each question. Subject matter experts examined the challenges that were submitted. The answer key will be changed and applied to all applicants’ responses if a challenge is found to be legitimate. Based on the updated answer key, the final results will be announced
The purpose of the CSIR NET exam is to assess a candidate’s eligibility for PhD programmes at Indian universities or colleges, assistant professorships, and junior research fellowships (JRFs). Candidates are required to check the official website on a daily basis for any latest updates on results.
