The Department of School Education in Andhra Pradesh is scheduled to release the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) 2024 results today, March 14. Candidates who appeared for the exam can download their results from the official website at aptet.apcfss.in.

The AP TET 2024 was conducted from February 27 to March 9 in two sessions — one from 9:30 am to 12 noon and the other from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.

The provisional answer key for AP TET 2024 was issued on March 6, 2024. Candidates who were not satisfied with the provisional answer key had the option to raise objections against the answer key on or before March 7. The final answer key is set to be released on March 13.

AP TET 2024 Result: How To Check

Here are simple steps for the candidates to access their AP TET 2024 result:

Step 1: Go to the official website of AP TET 2024, which is aptet.apcfss.in.

Step 2: Once you’re on the homepage of the website, look for and click on the link labeled “AP TET Result 2024.”

Step 3: After clicking on the result link, you will be redirected to a new page where you’ll need to provide your login credentials.

Step 4: Once you’ve entered the details, click on the submit.

Step 5: After submission, your AP TET 2024 result will be displayed on the screen. Review the details carefully.

Step 6: Download the result and take a printout for future reference.

The AP TET consists of two papers. Qualifying Paper 1 makes candidates eligible to teach classes 1 to 5, while clearing Paper 2 qualifies them for teaching classes 6 to 8.

To pass the AP TET 2024, candidates need to secure a minimum of 60 per cent marks. However, candidates belonging to the BC category must attain 50 per cent or above marks, and SC, ST, differently abled, and ex-servicemen category candidates need to secure at least 40 per cent marks.

The AP TET exam lasts for 2 hours and 30 minutes and contains 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). In Paper 1, there are five sections: child development and pedagogy, language 1, English, mathematics, and environmental studies. Each section consists of 30 MCQs, with each question carrying one mark. Paper 2 also has five sections: child development and pedagogy, language 1, English, and subjects related to the chosen stream. The first three sections contain 30 MCQs each, while the final segment comprises 60 MCQs.
