Flamboyant India all-rounder Hardik Pandya has provided a major update on his rehabilitation as he posted a video on Instagram where he was seen bowling full tilt. Pandya is expected to return to competitive cricket with the upcoming season of IPL where he will lead Mumbai Indians.
Pandya sustained an ankle injury during an ODI World Cup match against Bangladesh last year and has missed competitive cricket after that. The all-rounder worked hard during his rehabilitation phase and he has now returned to the ground bowling full tit in the latest video posted by him on Instagram.

“I am giving it all I got, every single day.”

The Indian all-rounder replaced Rohit Sharma as Mumbai Indians captain after a big trade move from Gujarat Titans after IPL 2024 Auction. It will be a home-coming Hardik who started his IPL journey with Mumbai. Meanwhile, he also had a successful stint with Gujarat Titans as he led them to a title triumph in their debut season. They also reached the final of the tournament last season where Chennai Super Kings emerged victorious.
The runners-up of last season have already announced their captain of next season in Shubman Gill but Nehra admitted replacing Pandya as the player is difficult but they did their best in the auction to fill in the big gap.
“Replacing someone like Hardik Pandya is difficult, but we tried our best,” Nehra told JioCinema during the IPL 2024 Auction.
Five-time champions MI traded Cameron Green to Royal Challengers Bangalore to get the funds to sign back Pandya in the trading window ahead of the auction.
During his first stint with the Mumbai Indians between the years 2015 and 2021, the all-rounder was part of four title-winning squads, scoring 1476 runs in all with the bat, while also chipping in with 42 wickets with the ball in his hand.
