Lucknow Super Giants batter Nicholas Pooran set the M Chinnaswamy stadium alight with his maverick batting against home team Royal Challengers Bengaluru during the clash between the sides on Tuesday.

LSG romped to a total of 181 for the loss of 5 wickets riding on a half-century from South African opener Quinton de Kock and an incredible display of power hitting by Windies batter Pooran.

Pooran, who made a massive contribution of an unbeaten 40 runs off just 21 deliveries. His innings included five sixes and one four as he entertained fans at the stadium and throughout the nation with some explosive batting he has come to be known for.

Opener de Kock fell to Topley after making 81 runs off just54 deliveries, shortly before Ayush Badoni followed his teammate back to the hut for a duck.

pooran’s fireworks in towards the fag end of the innings helped LSG set RCB a target of 182 as he remained unbeaten alongside Krunal Pandya, who did not get to play even a single delivery in the fixture.
