Leading Run Scorers of All Time in Test Cricket

Legendary Indian batter Sachin Tendulkar finished his 24-year-long Test career with 15,921 runs to his name in 200 matches. The total of 15,921 runs is still a record for the most runs in Test cricket’s history by any batter. Former Australian captain Ricky Ponting is second on the list, but he finished his career with 13,378 runs, which is more than 2500 runs less than Tendulkar’s tally.

With the help of 32 centuries and 62 fifties, his resume speask for itself. The former England’s Test captain also holds the record for most runs and centuries in World Test Championship history.
