It seems as if DC skipper Rishabh Pant hasn’t had his share of fun with the bat alone, and now he wants to try some out with the ball as well. Why not?
In a newly released clip by the Delhi Capitals, Pant is seen trying his hand out at bowling in the nets, as he runs in and bowls medium-pace for batter Abhishek Porel in the nets.
Before he embarks on the same, Pant is seen having talks with pacer Rasikh Dar, who instructs him on seam positioning, as the wicketkeeper listens on keenly.

Pant, who is having a hell of a comeback season following his near-fatal accident back in 2022, has emerged as DC’s top scorer so far this season, scoring a wondrous 413 runs in 12 innings for the side.
DC would be requiring every last run from the skipper as their hopes of making the IPL 2024 playoffs hang in the balance.
DC are in the mid-table scrum alongside CSK and LSG, but unlike CSK, they only have two games left – against RCB away and LSG at home. And it is imperative for them to win both the games to go up to 16 points and hope other results go their way, so that they can sneak into the top 4.
DC have registered two wins in their last three games. A loss in either of their last two games should be curtains to their campaign.
But, DC will surely be heading into their next fixture with a sense of pride as they walloped Rajasthan Royals to register a sensational 20-run win over Rajasthan Royals.
The victory didn’t come easy for the Capitals as they were tested in the second innings, struggling to put a full stop to unstoppable Royals captain, Sanju Samson. Things were all under control for the visitors till the 15th over, but the tables turned drastically for the team in pink as they lost their flag bearer, Samson, and DC wrapped up the endeavour with ease.
The Capitals snatched the win to remain in contention for a spot in the top four. With the victory, DC have now hopped to number five on the points table and a miraculous turn of fate is hovering around them.
