Bollywood celebrities Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan have a strong bond. They pop up in each other’s films, and we often catch them having a blast together in public. In a recent viral video, Shah Rukh hilariously gives credit to Salman and his fam for his success. And wait for it – he cheekily points out that, despite appearances, he’s actually the elder one in this dynamic duo!
Shah Rukh gave a shoutout to Salman’s family for being great hosts in Mumbai and showering him with blessings. He said, “He is more than an elder brother. His family has taken care of me. Maine sirf dhakke nahi khaaye hain, inke ghar ka khaana bhi khaaya hai (I have not only struggled, but I have also eaten at Salman’s house.) Salim uncle blessed me and I would say because I ate food at his home, I have become successful and have become Shah Rukh Khan," the megastar added.
Salman Khan thanked Shah Rukh for the kind words and added, “Thank you for these kind words Shah Rukh but your destiny is your destiny and nobody can take that away from you." They recently acted together in “Tiger 3" and also starred in the blockbuster “Pathaan" in 2023.
In 2023, Shah Rukh Khan had a fantastic year with his three releases – Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki – all turning into blockbuster hits. Meanwhile, Salman Khan’s two films of the year, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and Tiger 3, didn’t quite create box office magic.
Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan’s friendship has been through thick and thin, but it’s still going strong. They have come a long way in showbiz, with their films and all things in between. The duo now share a great bond having moved on from their ugly fight which happened back in 2008 at Katrina Kaif’s birthday party. Post 2008, the actors weren’t friends for several years.
