Orry is a social media star and a friend to almost everyone in B-Town. The internet sensation gave his fans a big surprise as he appeared on the final episode of the popular Koffee with Karan 8, hosted by Karan Johar. Orry, who is now one of the closest friends of Kajol and Ajay Devgn’s daughter Nysa Devgn, recalled a time when he was refused a picture with Kajol. It is indeed an irony at present, as Orry has been captured with the who’s who of Bollywood.
On the Koffee couch, Orry shared that many years ago, while still a student in New York, he was able to get a job as an usher for an event attended by Kajol. He recalled, “I was usher number 3 to Kajol, and she probably doesn’t know this. This was in New York at the Taj Pierre, she was speaking at it and she kept talking about how children should wash their hands. This was pre-Covid and she was giving this speech.” During the event, he had asked the actress’s security personnel if he could get a picture with her but he was “declined.”
Commenting on how the tables have turned now, the host Karan Johar said, “Who knew that one day down the years you would be in a million photos with her daughter Nysa? Life comes full circle.”
Meanwhile, during his Koffee With Karan debut, Orry also shed some light on his ever-increasing stardom. He described it as “15 minutes of fame” and stated that his “downfall” was near. Orry mentioned, “Yes, the fame is getting to my head. Yes, I have an attitude problem. I think I’m better than everyone. But I am planning my own downfall now. Anything that goes up must go down, the brightest stars burn the fastest.” The social media star feels his instant fame will end soon, and then he plans to make a comeback like in movies. He compares his stardom to the leads in movies who go up and then fall and gradually come back.
Orry has been around in the entertainment industry all throughout 2023. The internet sensation, who is frequently spotted at Bollywood parties, has dominated our Instagram feeds. From partying with Sara Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Suhana Khan and Nysa Devgn to appearing on Bigg Boss 17, Orry is doing it all.
