Celebrating a decade of successful movie production, Hombale Films continues to undertake various projects.
In 2014, Hombale Films started its film journey with Nininndale, starring Puneeth Rajkumar in the leading role. Soon after, Vijay Kirgandur collaborated with Yash for the successful film Masterpiece. The winning streak continued with Hombale Films collaborating yet again with Puneeth Rajkumar, directed by Anand Ram. These back-to-back hits have significantly bolstered Hombale’s standing in Sandalwood, establishing it as a noteworthy name in the South Indian film industry.

Hombale Films celebrates a significant milestone, hitting the ten-year mark in the film production industry. The Kannada-based company has emerged as the largest production house in the country during this period. In a tweet, Hombale commemorated the achievement.
Hombale Films achieved a milestone with its fourth production, KGF Part 1, directed by Prashant Neel. Breaking records, the film was released in five languages nationwide—Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi—garnering success at the box office. Notably, it became the first Kannada movie to surpass the Rs 200 crore mark globally. The success continued with KGF 2, setting another box office record.
Kantara movie has created a new record by starring popular actor Rishabh Shetty. It made a great collection at the box office. Kantara also made a splash in Bollywood. Currently, the Hombale team is busy preparing for the Kantara chapter.
Hombale Films, recognised for its achievements in Kannada cinema, is making strides in the Malayalam film industry with the production of Dhooman. In Tollywood, they have joined forces with Prabhas, famed for his Baahubali role, for the movie Salaar, directed by Prashant Neel of KGF. The film is anticipated to deliver gripping action sequences. Hombale has also made inroads into the Tamil film industry.
