Upcoming Royal Enfield Interceptor Bear 650 Design Details Leaked, Launching Soon
The report says the upcoming model will use the same 650 Twin platform, which has been seen in the standard Interceptor 650 Twin.

After successfully launching the Guerrilla 450 in India, Royal Enfield (RE) is now gearing up to introduce another model named Interceptor Bear 650. Ahead of the official release, the patent design of the motorcyle has been leaked on the internet, revealing some of the important elements and key features.

The upcoming offering the brand is likely to hit the market later this year. The report says the model will use the same 650 Twin platform, which has been seen in the standard Interceptor 650 Twin. However, it will have slight off-road capabilities, allowing the riders to enjoy smooth rides on multiple terrains.

Design

Going by the patent design, the Interceptor Bear 650 features the signature style round-shaped headlight setup, paired with sleek indicators on the sides at both ends.

The leak also suggested that the motorcycle would ditch the bulkier twin exhaust system. Instead, it will use a two-into-one exhaust, which will make look more aesthetic and eye-pleasing in the segment.

Comfort and Seating

On the comfort front, the model gets a single seating arrangement with grab handles for the pillion. Apart from this, the model will be equipped with an upside-down fork setup, while the rear will be supported by a dual spring mono-shock.

Engine

Most of the spec-related details are under wrap as yet. Even, the kerb weight of the motorcyle is not known yet. However, we feel, the Interceptor Bear 650 might use a 648 cc air/oil-cooled parallel-twin mill, which will generate a maximum power of 47 bhp at 7150 rpm and 52 Nm at 5250 rpm.

It is expected to fall under the kerb weight between 200 Kg to 220 km.
