Ola Electric’s First E-Motorcycle To Make Debut In FY 2026, Details Here
Ola Electric will launch its first E-Motorcycle in 2026, unveiling four concepts: Diamondhead, Adventure, Roadster, and Cruiser.

Bangalore-based Ola Electric has confirmed the launch of its first E-Motorcycle in 2026.

In the draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) for its upcoming IPO, the company expects to start the delivery of electric motorcycles in the first half of the financial year 2026.

Ola introduced four concept E-Motorbikes – Diamondhead, Adventure, Roadster and Cruiser– in August 2023.

“We plan to further expand our product portfolio to also cover mass-market motorcycles, targeting a wider range of consumers across various product types and price points in the long term,” the company said.

Ola Electric has also recently filed patents for three electric motorcycle designs including a removable electric battery.

“Limited options have restricted EV penetration in the motorcycle segment to less than 1 per cent, with a significant presence of EVs in over Rs 1 lakh price segment. With the strengthening of supply in popular price segments through R&D and technological advancements, penetration in the electric motorcycle segment is also expected to see an uptick,” the company added.

Ola, which is one of the key players in the electric two-wheeler segment, controls over 30 percent market share. The company offers a diverse lineup of electric scooters, including the S1 Pro, S1 Air and the S1X. The S1 X is available in three different battery capacities from 2kWh to 4kWh.

In April this year, the company revised the price range of their electric S1 scooter series. The prices of S1 X, offered in three battery options– 2 kWh, 3 kWh, and 4 kWh, were dropped to Rs 69,999 (introductory price), Rs 84,999, and Rs 99,999, respectively.

“We believe India’s EV industry has reached an inflexion point with the EV penetration in the 2W segment at an all-time high last month. Our S1X portfolio now addresses the high upfront cost of EVs which is one of the major barriers to EV adoption,” Ola Electric’s spokesperson said while commenting on the price cut

Ola Ectric competes with companies like Bajaj Auto, TVS Motors and Ather in the electric two-wheeler segment in India.
