Maruti Suzuki Swift Modified to Look Like Mini Nissan GT-R
Kerala based O2 Garage has modified a Maruti Suzuki Swift to resemble like the Nissan GT-R sportscar. The red Swift gets a GT-R badge and body kit.

Maruti Suzuki Swift is one of the most loved hatchbacks to ever hit the Indian shores. Launched back in 2005, the Swift has always been among the top 5 selling cars in India, making it one of the most sold cars in the country. And that is why people love to show their love towards this sports hatchback (sort of). Many independent customizers have modified the Swift in the past, presenting a different side of the car.

Joining the long list of the customizers is the O2 Garage based out of Kollam, Kerala, who has modified a Maruti Suzuki Swift to resemble like the Godzilla, or the Nissan GT-R, as it is officially called. While the front of the Swift is made to look like that of the GT-R, the similarities end there. Nonetheless, the modification work in itself is intriguing and makes the Swift a stand-out vehicle.

Apart from the GT-R badging on the grille, there’s a new bumper with integrated LED strip, and a front lip spoiler. The resculpted engine hood gets a faux intake, and the front fenders are re-designed too. The large 17-inch dual tone alloy wheels wrapped with low profile tyres are probably the most striking looking part of the Swift.

The modified Swift also gets an electric sunroof, fixed wing in the rear, new bumper with faux air outlets, quad exhaust pipes and blacked-out pair of tail lamps. Under the hood, there’s no GT-R engine, due to the obvious reasons. Instead, it would be the 1.2-litre K-Series petrol engine or the 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine. Both engines come with a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard.
