The leading carrier Air India is all set to use its flagship A350-900 on the Delhi-New York JFK route from November 1, 2024. The airline has already confirmed the news via an official press release. It has also announced the use of the aircraft on the Delhi-Newark route as well, starting from January 2, 2025.
As per the details shared by Air India, it will set up its Premium Economy class for the first time on the above-mentioned routes, providing passengers on board a smooth and seamless travel experience.
All About A350
The aircraft will come with a choice of 24 wide seats, arranged in a 2-4-2 configuration in a dedicated, upscale cabin. It will benefit the flyers on board with the extra legroom.
Apart from this, it also will be equipped with 28 private suites in its Business class compartment, offering a top-notch comfort level in mid-air.
Benefits
The passengers on board will be treated with full-flat beds in a 1-2-1 configuration. Every suite in Business has direct acess to the aisle side, sliding privacy doors, and a personal wardrobe. The aircraft will also offer 264 spacious Economy seats, which have been arranged in a 3-4-3 configuration.
To make the journey more exciting, the A350 will have the latest-generation Panasonic eX3 in-flight entertainment (IFE) system and HD screens on each seat. The unit will provide more than 2,200 hours of non-stop entertainment with a long list of content across the world.
