Air India is gearing up for the Durga Puja season by adding more flights to Kolkata from four major Indian cities.
Starting September 20, 2024, the airline will launch daily, non-stop flights to Kolkata from Bengaluru and Hyderabad, running for nearly a month.
In addition, Air India has ramped up its flight frequency to Kolkata from Delhi, effective August 15, 2024, and from Mumbai, starting September 25, 2024. With these new additions, the Delhi-Kolkata route will see an increase from 28 to 35 weekly flights, while the Mumbai-Kolkata route will go from 21 to 28 weekly flights.
These additional flights are scheduled at convenient times, making it easier for travelers to reunite with their loved ones during the festive season. Air India’s Kolkata flights are also timed to offer smooth connections through its hubs in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru to international destinations such as the United States, Canada, the UK, Australia, and several countries in Europe and Southeast Asia.
