WWE superstar LA Knight looks ready to make a strong statement in the upcoming Bash in Berlin. The United States champion is set to defend his title at the premium live event that will be held on August 31. Ahead of the mega show, Knight will reportedly put forward an open challenge on the next Friday Night SmackDown, which will also be hosted in the German capital. Hours before the weekly live event, Knight shared a video on X (formerly Twitter), addressing his potential opponent.
“Still we take the kill home. Why? Cause there’s only one man that can go all around the world. I don’t even think it’s legal that I’m still over here defending this thing, winning it back ’cause nobody can take this from me,” the SmackDown star was heard saying in the clip.

LA Knight further spoke about his massive popularity, not only in the United States but also in other parts of the world. He has featured in several WWE events in recent times to defend the United States Championship. The video then cuts to Knight’s entrances across different arenas where the crowd can be heard chanting “LA Knight, Yeah!”
Several fans have now flocked to the comments section to react to the pre-show message from LA Knight. One suggested that the global chants supposedly make him a World Champion. “Every nation, making you the WORLD champ,” the fan wrote.
Another said, “The aura that surrounds you is quite awesome. I remember watching you on Championship Wrestling from Hollywood with the late great Percy Pringle. You’ve earned every bit of your success.”
One fan compared him to the ex-United States Champion and wrote, “Already a better champion than Logan Paul.”
Another added, “LA Knight, Yeah! Shoes of a champion.”
“Making the WWE USA Championship Great Again. LA Knight…Yeah!” added one more fan.
LA Knight won the United States Championship at SummerSlam earlier this year by dethroning his long-time rival Logan Paul. The animosity between the duo seemed to be rather personal with Knight even infiltrating Paul’s home. Apart from their in-ring rivalry, both stars often exchanged fiery messages on social media. Everything looks to have been settled since Knight crushed Paul to clinch the US title.
Since his victory against Logan Paul, LA Knight has time and again proven that he’s a fighting champion. Knight defended his title only last week against Legado Del Fantasma’s Santos Escobar. Despite the foul play by the heel faction, Knight could have emerged victorious in the title clash. He will now be looking to put up another successful defence in the open challenge on the next SmackDown episode.
