Princess Kate Spotted Outside First Time Since Surgery, Shares Social Media Post Amid Health Concerns
A royal insider said that if William and Kate would want to discuss Kate’s public absence, they would do it while interacting with the public.

Kate Middleton visited her favourite farm shop Saturday as she began taking her first steps to return to official engagements, UK-based newspaper The Sun said in a report. Bystanders said Princess Kate looked “happy, relaxed and healthy” on the visit. The farm shop is roughly half a kilometre away from her Adelaide Cottage home in Windsor

She and her husband, Prince William, spent the morning watching their children George, ten, Charlotte, eight, and Louis, five, take part in sports.

The royal couple were sighted amid wild speculations about her well-being and current whereabouts which left the royal couple “devastated”. Kate was herself caught in a controversy and faced criticism for modifying a Mother’s Day photo using Photoshop.

She and her husband also took to social media to wish their followers a happy St Patrick’s Day and shared a small video clip of British soldiers. “Happy St Patrick’s Day! Here’s a sneak peek of the Irish Guards rehearsing for their annual parade. Sláinte to all those celebrating today!” the royal couple said in the post shared on social media site X.

This is the first time in seven years she is missing the St Patrick’s Day celebrations.

Their well wishers are concerned as UK media outlets said they were anticipating a ‘major announcement’ from the Royal family. According to reports, the BBC Events team on Sunday was notified to stay alert for an “extremely important” announcement from the Royal family “at any moment”.

“After all the rumours that had been going round I was stunned to see them there. Kate was out shopping with William and she looked happy and she looked well. The kids weren’t with them but it’s such a good sign she was healthy enough to pop down to the shops,” a witness at the farm shop was quoted as saying by The Sun.

Kate’s last public appearance was on Christmas Day and she hasn’t been able to fulfil her official duties since undergoing surgery in January.

It’s expected that she won’t resume her engagements until after April 17, once her children return to Lambrook School near Ascot after the Easter break. However, there’s speculation that she might make a comeback on Easter Sunday, possibly joining her family for the customary walk to church in Windsor.

People familiar with the developments said that Kate Middleton is likely to speak about her health battle – but only if she returns to her royal duties.

“She and William are at their most open when out interacting with the public and I can see a world in which the Princess might discuss her recovery (while) out on engagements. If she was going to do it, that’s how she would do it,” the people mentioned above told the Times of London.

“They appreciate the public’s love and affection for their children and know there is a public appetite to see them on their birthdays,” they further added.
