Woman Dances to Bhojpuri Songs in Mumbai Local Train, Viral Videos Anger Desi Passengers

The trend of content creators dancing in trains is showing no signs of slowing down, despite facing criticism, warnings, and disapproval from various quarters. A recent incident has once again brought this issue to the forefront, as videos surfaced online depicting a young woman energetically dancing to Bhojpuri tunes inside a moving local train in Mumbai and at the bustling Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT).

The ‘X’ page, known as @mumbaimatterz, took to social media to share these videos, tagging relevant authorities such as GRP Mumbai, DRM Mumbai, and the Railway Ministry, urging them to address and curb such activities. The footage captures the woman’s provocative dance performances inside both general and ladies’ coaches of the Mumbai local trains, as well as on the platform of the CMST station, clearly causing inconvenience and disruption to fellow commuters.

As expected, the videos quickly went viral, eliciting a flurry of reactions from the online community. Many viewers expressed their disdain, labeling the woman’s actions as a nuisance and deeming her dance moves as “obscene” and unsuitable for the public setting of a train. “The obscenity outside CSMT was also the same person; wasn’t it…. It doesn’t even irk any more – disgust tolerance level up,” said one user.

“This is ridiculous and should be stopped immediately,” commented another. The third joined in, “She does it because people follow her and see what she does… It is the society as well!!” while the fourth added, “It is high time rail authorities take action against these reel makers.”

Amidst the online uproar, the official X handle of Mumbai Central DRM took note of the situation and promptly ordered an investigation into the incident. They assured the public that the matter had been escalated to the Security Department of the Mumbai Division for further inquiry and necessary action. ”Thanks for information.
