'Touch, Eye Contact To Posture': Psychology Students Study Orry’s Body Language, Make Presentation

Social media personality Orry aka Orhan Awatramani has been a talk of the town for a long time now. From his appearances at several star-studded B-town parties to his one-liners ‘I am a liver’ he has been gathering all the eyeballs due to various reasons. Recently, a group of psychology students at the Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Navi Mumbai created a unique presentation on Orry’s body language to study the verbal and non-verbal communication exhibited by celebs. A video of that presentation is making rounds on social media.

On Friday, one of Orry’s fan pages Unseen Pictures of Orry shared a post on Instagram that featured a few pages of the presentation along with a video in which three students could be seen explaining the slides.

The presentation aimed at Orry’s general bio data followed by his posture, body movements, hand gestures, his eye contacts, facial expressions, touch, distance and tonality as observed by his pictures that convey messages beyond the words. In the video clip, a hooting noise could be heard as the three students give their presentation inside the class room.

Soon after the fan page dropped the post on Instagram, users swamped to the comments section and shared their reactions. “This is insane,” a user wrote. Another commented, “Amazing work.” An account remarked, “Living the dream.”

Orry enjoys a good fan following on social media with around 1.1 million followers on Instagram. He is a social media sensation and is popularly known for being friends with several prominent personalities. Orry is also popular because of his viral signature pose, the one in which he casually puts his one hand on a person’s chest/stomach and strikes a pose exuding confidence and charm.

Several pictures of Orry striking his signature pose with celebs like Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Suhana Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Nick Jonas and even Rihanna have surfaced on social media.

Recently, a video circulated on social media from Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivities in which Orry was seen performing garba with the bride-to-be which clocked over 1 million views on Instagram.
