They were staying in a five-star hotel. But what happened next left everyone astonished. From the initial investigation the police officials mentioned that they were shot to death, but the officials failed to find any evidence of gunfire. The police were more puzzled by the findings.

To closely account for the incident, Thailand’s Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin also visited the crime scene. He mentioned that all six members who were allegedly killed were from Vietnam while some of them had dual citizenship of the United States. As per reports, the officials found that they had been dead for around 24 hours before the police found them.

A post-mortem is being conducted to uncover the truth. Talking to the media, Metropolitan Police Chief Lieutenant General Thiti Sengsawang said that the room was booked under the names of seven people. Still, only five people checked in and one person is currently missing. The identity of one of the victims found dead in the room does not match the official records.

The police mentioned in its report that the people had ordered food in the suite, but it remained untouched. The tourists were reportedly supposed to check out of the hotel on Monday. But when the housekeeping staff went to clean the suite, they found the bodies of all six people lying in the living room and bedroom. According to the police, the condition of the room does not suggest any fight among them. There is no evidence of robbery or theft as well. The police officials further mentioned that there were no serious wounds on anyone’s body Just one person had a minor injury which was likely caused by falling.

The police official further mentioned that they found open containers of tea, energy drinks and honey in the bathroom. It seemed that two of the victims tried to reach the suite door, which was locked from inside. As a part of the investigation, the belongings of all the victims were searched. The officials suspect that they were poisoned to death as there was no evidence of conflict or fight. The officials are presently in search of the seventh person who might be associated with the alleged murder.
