Just days after EssilorLuxottica, the company behind Ray-Ban glasses, extended its partnership with Meta, CEO Mark Zuckerberg gave fans a fun sneak peek at their upcoming commercial. In a surprising twist, Zuckerberg is joined by actor and former WWE star John Cena, singer Benson Boone and filmmaker Matthew Vaughn in the behind-the-scenes footage. The clip shows Zuckerberg being launched into the air by Cena’s powerful punch and later displaying his sword-fighting skills alongside Boone. What makes the video stand out is that these exhilarating moments are captured from their perspective using the Smart Ray-Ban Glasses.
The video kicks off with Zuckerberg’s hands on fire, quickly followed by an unexpected expletive. The scene transitions to Zuckerberg fist-bumping Vaughn, who is introduced as the Nut Cracker, with Zuckerberg saying, “It’s fun to be working on something together, lets do it.”
Vaughn then introduces Zuckerberg to Cena, dubbed Chestnut and Boone, known as Go Nuts. The footage then features all the stars performing various stunts, culminating in a dramatic finale where Zuckerberg is again seen on fire.
Sharing the video, Zuckerberg wrote, “Up to something with Matthew Vaughn, John Cena, Benson Boone and the STUNTNUTS.”
