Kid Narrowly Escapes Speeding Truck, Internet Salutes Driver For Applying Brakes On Time

The constant moving traffic can pose danger for them. Recently, a video is doing rounds which shows a kid narrowly averting an accident by a speeding truck. The internet users were shocked to see the close call even as many appreciated the driver’s presence of mind that saved the child.

In the video, the child was attempting to cross a road with a friend. He was seen running across the road. However, in a hurry, he failed to inspect the other side of the road, resulting in him running in front of the truck. Fortunately, the driver was quick to use the brakes, leading in an immediate halt right before the vehicle hit the child. The boy, on the other hand, managed to escape unscathed. His friend decided to run back on the other side to avoid the truck. The video was shared on X with the caption, “Truck’s emergency brakes save a boy’s life.”

The video soon went viral, eliciting a variety of reactions from online users. Most praised the vehicle’s safety features and the driver’s prompt response, while there were others who praised the child for not panicking.
