Recently, the Pakistan cricket team was seen engaging in an army-style training session, which included tasks like carrying rocks while climbing up a hill. This unconventional training regimen has left the internet puzzled, with many wondering whether the Men in Green were honing their cricketing skills or secretly preparing for some mission. A circulating video showcased the likes of Naseem Shah, Mohammad Rizwan, and Iftikhar Ahmed, among others, immersing themselves in the drill under the supervision of armed forces personnel, from attempting sniper shooting to even shouldering each other through the rigorous exercises.
Since then, cricket fans have been anything but calm, flooding social media with memes and witty reactions.

Concerns were also raised about the risks, especially for players with existing injuries, as a slip on the rocky terrain could potentially worsen their condition. As Umpire Richard Kettleborough humorously pondered, “Which Mission is Pakistan Cricket Team Preparing for? This Kind of training can be injury prone for players, if anyone slips on this rocky areas. God knows what they all are doing.”

Meanwhile, as part of their training regimen, 29 such members of the Pakistan cricket team are currently immersed in military-based exercises at Abbottabad’s Army School for Physical Training. This program is reportedly a part of their fitness camp in preparation for upcoming assignments, notably the T20 World Cup scheduled for June.
Mohsin Naqvi, the newly appointed chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), has set his sights on significant improvements in the squad’s fitness levels and their ability to hit powerful shots to clear the boundaries. To achieve this, the players are pushing themselves under the guidance of military forces.
