We have witnessed dogs engage mostly in playful activities including playing with the ball, catching frisbee and even skateboarding. However, this bulldog’s Karaoke performance is a whole new experience. In a recently shared video, a man is behind the wheel of a car, speeding on a road and enjoying the song Believer by Imagine Dragons. It is one of those songs which provoke a tendency to sing the vocals, especially the popular ‘oh-ooh’ at the end of each verse. But what is fascinating in this sing-along is not the driver or the people in the car. It is a bulldog that stands close to the driver and steals the limelight.
While the song Believer plays in the car, most people would imagine the passengers to be singing along, but the dog shows everyone that is not the case. This determined canine knows when a song reaches the famous ‘oh-ooh’ section. Right on time, it lets out a perfectly timed ‘oh-ooh,’ which harmonises with the lead vocalist of Imagine Dragons.
Notably, this is not a one-off fluke. For the rest of the video, the doggo remains quite accurate when it comes to hitting the note of each “oh-ooh”, which could mean that the bulldog has listened to the song before and has even probably rehearsed it.
What makes this even more hilarious is the reaction of the other passengers in the backseat. They cannot help but burst into laughter as this small, unassuming dog suddenly becomes the star of the show. But the bulldog? It doesn’t blink an eye and ignores the human giggles in the background, fully devoted to singing ‘oh-ooh’ in the same manner as a professional singer.
Seems like this adorable pup could back up Imagine Dragons anytime as the video has so far accumulated over 21 million views.
American singer and songwriter Justin Tranter commented on the video saying, “As a co-writer of this song, I fully approve of this cover”.
A user hilariously dubbed it as, “Imagine Doggos”.
Another user mentioned, “I think Imagine Dragons needs to hire an additional frontman”.
Meanwhile, a user highlighted, “The way you can see him concentrating on the song waiting for the chorus”.
