India is celebrating its 75th Republic Day. It is a great moment of pride for everyone across the nation as our country became a sovereign democratic republic 7 decades ago. Celebrating the same, Actress Nikki Tamboli extends her heartfelt wishes to the audiences.
Talking about how she plans to celebrate Republic Day this year, Nikki shared, “This Republic Day, I’m excited to celebrate the spirit of unity and diversity with everyone, I will be participating in an event for the flag hosting, expressing my gratitude for the nation”.
When asked As a public figure, how do you think celebrities can contribute to promoting patriotism and unity on Republic Day! Nikki responded, “Celebrities, have a special role in subtly nurturing patriotism and unity. Through inspiring words, charitable endeavors, or involvement in national events, their actions can quietly resonate with millions, cultivating a subtle sense of pride and togetherness.”.
Sharing her special memories associated with this Day, Nikki shared, “Republic Day holds a special place in my heart. One cherished memory involves during my childhood when I was in school! I used to always participate in the grand parade and flag hoisting with my classmates, followed up with speeches where we used to reinforce the importance of our democratic values and the incredible progress our nation has made”.
Although Nikki Tamboli became a big name after Bigg Boss 14, she has done numerous films as well. She played prominent roles in Tamil and Telugu movies and was even seen in the television show Sirf Tum in 2021.
In a recent interview with News18 Showsha, Nikki Tamboli spoke about how she is happy that the perception about her being just ‘a pretty face’ is slowly changing. “Earlier, I had to skirmish the stereotype of primarily being more of a pretty face. Filmmakers and producers are grasping with the fact that I’m a lot more than that,” Nikki Tamboli told us.
“Slowly and steadily, all thanks to the work opportunities I’ve been bestowed with, I’ve been able to paint the fact that there’s a lot of finesse in my craft as a performing artist. I’m glad that the people in the industry who matter are acknowledging the performer in me and are bringing work offers to me accordingly,” the 26-year-old actress added.
Since her stint in Bigg Boss 14, Nikki has been featured in several music videos. She often makes headlines for her stylish and bold outfit choices.
