After showing his acting skills in numerous hit shows, Nakuul Mehta is stepping into a new role as a host of the long-running show, Crime Patrol. The new season is all set to be aired on the newly launched channel, Sun Neo TV. Reports indicate that Nakuul Mehta has already begun filming for episodes and the actor recently dropped the first intriguing teaser. The show airs from Monday to Saturday at 9:30 pm. Following the release of the teaser, fans are eagerly waiting to witness Nakuul Mehta back on TV. Before Mehta stepped in, the previous seasons of Crime Patrol were hosted by celebrities such as Anup Soni, Sakshi Tanwar, Divyanka Tripathi, Shakti Anand, Sonali Kulkarni, Ashutosh Rana and Renuka Shahane.
In the explosive teaser, Nakuul Mehta says, “It’s not just difficult but impossible to know from which corner the criminal’s eyes are watching you. But a little attentiveness can save you from becoming a victim of crime. Every crime will be under radar and the sins will be exposed.” Sharing the video, the Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 star wrote, “Coming to save the world. Vigilante in a suit on your TeVees.”
Crime Patrol, which originally aired on Sony TV, raised awareness about crimes but at the same time, the show also helped victims of such crimes come out and expose the truth. The series began its first season in May 2003 and concluded with season seven in January 2023.
Meanwhile, Mehta will also appear in Karan Johar’s web series, Daring Partners with Tamannaah Bhatia and Diana Penty. The upcoming Amazon Prime series follows two close friends who become business partners and establish their alcohol startup. Through their experiences, the show sheds light on the challenges faced by women as they carve their paths in an industry dominated by men.
Other than Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 alongside Disha Parmar, Nakuul Mehta has worked in numerous hit shows, including Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyara Pyara, Dil Boley Oberoi, Ishqbaaaz. The actor has even appeared on several OTT shows like I Don’t Watch TV and Never Kiss Your Best Friend.
