Kapil Sharma’s comedy show, The Great Indian Kapil Show, has garnered significant attention on Netflix with its star-studded guest lineup, including Diljit Dosanjh, Anil Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, and Ranbir Kapoor, among others. After the first season concluded recently, Kapil Sharma is taking a break to enjoy some family time with his wife, Ginni Chatrath, and their kids. During this hiatus, the comedian has been sharing glimpses of his adventures from Canada on social media. His latest post shows the Zwigato star stylishly posing in New York’s Times Square. In his Instagram Stories, Kapil Sharma offers a unique view of the bustling street and captures the vibrant energy of the city.
Wearing a white T-shirt paired with a matching jacket, pants, sunglasses and shoes, Kapil Sharma recently posted a 360-degree view of Times Square on his social media handle. It’s unclear whether the comedian is in the USA for a show or just enjoying some leisurely time, but his fans are delighted to see him taking a well-deserved break after wrapping up his comedy show last month.
In June, Kapil Sharma delighted his followers with several travel photos, including shots of him cycling in scenic spots, relaxing near a river and spending time in the forest. Among all the pictures, a particular reel stood out, where Sharma was enjoying a plane ride. In the video shared on Instagram, he wasn’t just a passenger but was also flying the plane with the guidance of an expert. The footage also features breathtaking aerial views of the area, which left viewers amazed and impressed. Sharing the post, the comedian joked, “Aaj jahaaz tera bhai udayega. (Your brother will fly plane today).”

While viewers enjoyed The Great Indian Kapil Show, many fans missed Sumona Chakravarti’s presence, who previously played Kapil Sharma’s on-screen wife in the Sony TV show. Her absence led to rumours about alleged disagreements between Sharma and Chakravarti or speculations that she was fired from the show. However, Chakravarti recently spoke about these rumours in an interview with News18 Showsha and clarified that there is no tension between her and Kapil Sharma.
The actress said, “I was part of a show which ended in July last year and it’s not like you exited or I resigned or I got fired, the show ended in July and after that, we all went ahead. We took up our individual projects after that. I’m doing Khatron Ke Khiladi. He did another show. It’s just that there is no bad blood at all. Why would I be upset (with Kapil)? He and I worked before and I went to Romania.”
Meanwhile, following the success of season one, Kapil Sharma recently announced that season two of The Great Indian Kapil Show is coming soon.
