Imlie’s Sai Ketan Rao Shares Heartfelt Note As He Wraps Up Shoot: ‘I Carry With Me The Lessons Learned’

Imlie, the popular TV serial starring Sai Ketan Rao and Adrija Roy, has captured the hearts of the viewers with its compelling storyline and intriguing characters. After enthralling audiences for nearly four years, the show is all set to bid goodbye to its viewers as the TV serial is about to get off-air. The cast of the show has already wrapped up the shooting for the last episode. On the last day of the shoot, actor Sai Ketan Rao, who played the double role of Agasthya Singh Chaudhary and Surya Pratap Reddy, took to social media and penned down a heartfelt note.

In his long post, Rao addressed playing two distinct characters in the same show. Talking about his first role, Rao highlighted Agasthya’s caring nature for all and his love towards his family and Imlie. “Gave my best to Agasthya, he made people go in awe, laugh cry and most importantly he loved a person who couldn’t be with him, he had to part ways and go to other side, his story was incomplete though, but Agasthya will always be in our hearts,” Rao wrote on his Instagram

Rao also reflected upon his other character, Surya Pratap Singh, a police officer and a twin brother of Agasthya. Rao mentioned, “A fearless police officer who looks at the world with eagle eyes, Robinhood kind of nature he (Surya) gave justice to the needy and served criminals with his own code of punishments, the day he got to know about his twin brother his world turned upside down.”

Lastly, the actor also expressed gratitude towards the makers of Imlie and all the audience for showering immense love on both the characters. “Saying goodbye to these characters who have become a part of me. Thank you for the memories that will forever linger in the corridors of my mind,” the actor wrote.

“And as I turn the page to embark on new adventures, I carry with me the lessons learned, the experiences gained, and the unwavering passion that fuels my craft. Until our paths cross again in the boundless realm of storytelling,” Rao concluded.

Apart from Imlie, Sai Ketan Rao has also appeared in TV shows like Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali, and Chashni and also in the web series Three Half Bottles.
