Arti Singh, a prominent face in the Indian television industry, tied the knot with businessman Dipak Chauhan earlier this year. The wedding was quite a lavish affair, with some popular faces gracing their special day. However, months after the wedding, there were rumours that the newlywed couple was heading for a divorce. Now, Arti Singh has slashed all speculation and also noted how upset she was due to these unwanted rumours.
Speaking about the rumours about her separation from Dipak Chauhan, Arti told Hindustan Times that she is unable to understand how these speculations started. Expressing her frustration, the actress told the publication, “I was very upset when these reports surfaced. But main aise logon ko mera nazar battu maanti hu. We are happy, koi trouble in paradise nahi hain.” Moreover, shedding light on her relationship with Dipak post wedding, she noted that “there is no pressure at all” and they are like friends, which makes it easier to navigate life together.
Arti Singh and Dipak Chauhan married on April 25. Their wedding ceremony was held at the ISKCON temple in Mumbai. It was a star-studded event hosted by her brother Krushna Abhishek and sister-in-law Kashmera Shah. Many celebrities, including Kapil Sharma, Archana Puran Singh, Rajiv Thakur, Bharti Singh and others attended the wedding. The highlight of Arti Singh’s wedding was that her uncle Govinda attended the ceremony with his family. Recalling how her special day became memorable, the actress told the portal, “Jaisa socha tha vaisa hi hua. (It happened the way we wanted it) We didn’t want a big fat wedding. I wanted a simple wedding at ISKCON and that’s what we did. I am very happy.”
Earlier, in an interview with Times Now, Arti stated that she met Dipak Chauhan through his aunt, who served as matchmaker. Despite meeting numerous possible partners, Arti failed to connect with anyone until Dipak came along and made a sincere attempt. Dipak even moved from Navi Mumbai to Andheri to stay closer to her.
Dipak is a successful entrepreneur who founded an event management company. He is also the brand ambassador for the Road Safety World Series. Arti, on the other hand, is known for her TV shows — Thoda Hai Bas Thode Ki Zaroorat Hai, Parichay and Waaris. Arti was last seen in Shravani and has also participated in Bigg Boss 13.
