Sony’s PlayStation Network Goes Down, Millions Of Games Go Offline For Users
Sony PlayStation network outage means gamers are unable to access their account and the games have gone offline.

Sony is facing a major PlayStation Network outage on Tuesday which has affected millions as they are not able to access their accounts and the games have gone offline. Sony has already confirmed the outage via its PSN Status support page and assures they are working to get the issue resolved at the earliest.

Downdetector, the platform that tracks outages has confirmed the issue. The PlayStation network outage seems to have started around 7:00 AM IST in India and also affecting PS gamers in the US and other regions. The reporting by users is quite high in the US compared to the Indian market.

“You might have difficulty launching games, apps, or network features. We’re working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience,” as mentioned on the Sony PSN status support page.

People are understandably irritated by the outage, especially those who are coming back from long work hours and just want to wind down with a few gaming sessions on their PS.

We’ll update the story as things develop and the situation normalises for all PlayStation gamers.

What's your reaction?
