Riff: Facebook's new app lets friends make collaborative videos
Your friends will be able to add clips to your video on any given topic and Riff will show that collaborative video to your friends' friends so that they can also contribute.

New Delhi: Facebook has introduced a new creative tool that will let you make videos with friends. Dubbed Riff, this app lets you make videos on any topic of your choice to which your friends can add their own clips.

You can begin with suggesting a topic, for example #exercise, your friends can then view it and choose to add their clips on that topic. As your friends add their clips to your video, your friends' friends will also be shown that in Riff and they'll be able to contribute as well.

The collaborative video can not just be shared on Facebook, but anywhere on the Web and potentially initiate inventive projects or simply make the content go viral like the ice-bucket challenge.

The Facebook Creative Labs app is available for download on the Play Store and App Store.
