Chinese smartphone brand Nubia?s latest gaming smartphone, the Red Magic 6 series will go on pre-orders globally starting April 9, the company announced on Wednesday. The Red Magic 6 series includes the Red Magic 6 and the Red Magic 6 Pro. Both the smartphone are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor and are offered in multiple configurations. The Red Magic 6 series gaming smartphones will be available for pre-orders in the US, UK, and Europe. It is not known as to when the Nubia Red Magic Series will be available in India.
The company announced Red Magic 6 and Red Magic 6 Pro pre-orders via a tweet. The Red Magic 6 and the Red Magic 6 Pro will be up for pre-orders starting April 9. The Red Magic 6 series is priced at $599 (roughly Rs 43,490) in the US. The Indian prices and availability has not been revealed yet. The Nubia Red Magic 6 series was launched in China earlier this month, and the battery of the Red Magic 6 Pro remains the only difference in the Chinese variant and the global variant of the Red Magic 6 series.

The Red Magic 6 sports a 6.8-inch full-HD+ display with a 165Hz refresh rate and 500Hz single-touch sampling rate (360Hz multi-touch sampling rate). Other display features include a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, SGS high brush low seamer, 630 nits of peak brithgness, and SGS Low Blue Light Eye Care certifications. The Red Magic 6 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor and comes wih up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The Nubia Red Magic 6 has a triple rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra wide angle shooter, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. Up front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.
There are dual-touch gaming triggers on the shoulders and the logo on the back lights up. The smartphone comes with ICE 6.0 cooling system that includes an 18,000-rpm high-speed centrifugal fan, a cooling canyon air duct, superconducting copper foil, thermal gel graphene, and a VC heat sink to control the smartphone?s temperature.
The Red Magic 6 Pro also comes with similar specifications as the Red Magic 6. The Pro Variant, however, has more RAM and storage, and a better cooling system. The Red Magic 6 Pro comes with a 7-layer multi-dimensional cooling system that includes a 20,000rpm high-speed centrifugal fan and an aviation-grade cooling ice blade. There is up to 18GB of RAM on offer with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. There is a 5,050mAh battery on the Red Magic 6 Pro with 66W fast charging, same as the Red Magic 6.
The camera module on the Red Magic 6 Pro is also the same as the Red Magic 6, including a 64-megapixel primary shooter, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. Up front, the Red Magic 6 Pro also has an 8-megapixel shooter.
