Oppo Joy 3 sports a 4.5 inch IPS screen and runs on a 1.3GHz Quad-core processor combined with 1GB RAM.

New Delhi: China-based Oppo has unveiled its new affordable Android-based smartphone in India, the Oppo Joy 3, for a price of Rs 7,990.

Oppo Joy 3 sports a 4.5 inch IPS screen and runs on a 1.3GHz Quad-core processor combined with 1GB RAM.

The phone is based on Android KitKat 4.4 with Oppo’s ColorOS 2.0.1 on top. It comes with a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera.

It includes 4 GB internal storage that is expandable up to 32 GB with microSD card.

The dual-SIM Oppo Joy 3 draws its juice from a 2000mAh battery and is available in two colour variants: White and Grey.

Commenting on the launch of Joy 3 Mr. Tom Lu, CEO, OPPO Mobiles India said “OPPO Joy 3 is a successor of Joy Plus which combines appearance, fine camera quality at an affordable price. The device offers endless possibilities and enjoyment to the consumers both in rural and urban India. Indian market is our top most priority and we want to launch models across categories which combine style, technology and design.”
