In early 2017, it's widely expected that Nokia will make a comeback in the smartphone market with new Android-based smartphones. The first phone that will be powered by Android Nougat will be the Nokia D1C. It has been spotted at various benchmark websites like GeekBench and AnTuTU.
The Nokia D1C might come in two versions for consumers. The basic version will be sporting a polycarbonate body whereas the premium version will have a metal body design. Nokia will not cut corners here with their new smartphones and it is expected that they will look to compete directly with the likes of Samsung and Motorola.
The phone is expected to come with a Full HD display and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 and Adreno 505 GPU. The device might also come loaded with 3GB RAM and offer 32GB Internal storage that will be expandable.
The camera specs expected on the Nokia D1C will be 13-megapixels for the primary camera and 8 megapixel for the selfie camera.
