Google has been at the forefront of the smartphone segment with its Pixel series. The company typically unveils its flagship models in October each year. Despite the release being months away, leaked images of the Pixel 9 series have surfaced online, offering enthusiasts a sneak peek into its features and design.
Shared by the Russian website Rozetked, these leaks purportedly reveal live images, features and specifications of the upcoming Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro XL smartphones. The leaked images of the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL show that the phones have rounded corners and pill-shaped camera bars on the rear. The Pixel 9 series will have four models. As per the leak, the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro will be of similar size.
However, the Pro variants appear to have a matte back and glossy frame, while the Pixel 9 has a glossy back and matte frame. In terms of its storage, the Pixel 9 is expected to have 12GB + 128GB RAM and storage configuration, while the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL will come in 16GB + 128GB configuration.
The Pixel 9 is expected to get a 6.24-inch display, while the Pro and XL models could feature 6.24-inch and 6.73-inch screens, respectively. All the models will have AMOLED screens with a 120Hz refresh rate and are expected to be powered by Google's Tensor G4 SoC.
The leaked images of the Pixel 9 series show that the smartphone will have three 50-megapixel rear cameras and support ultra-wideband technology. The Pixel 9, in particular, might also get a dual rear camera setup.
As pointed out by the tipster, the Pixel 9 will have four models including Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL and Pixel 9 Fold. Fans are eagerly awaiting the launch of the phone and it is expected that the series will be launched in October this year and come with Android 15 version out of the box.
