Facebook tests LinkedIn-style profile tags; to let users highlight their strong points

Facebook confirmed they are testing the new feature to help users highlight their strong points.

The feature was created during an internal Facebook hackathon and lets users add tags to their profile - and be tagged by their friends, the Verge reports.

Of course, users have the chance to approve tags their friends add, and the tags are free form, meaning they can be single words or phrases and even include emojis.

Accepting the tags added by friends makes them visible to everyone and declining them makes them disappear. Approved tags are "like"-able.

What's your reaction?
