Shruti Haasan and Lokesh Kanagaraj took fans by surprise. The actress and the filmmaker revealed they have teamed up for a new single song, Inimel. The music video is composed and conceptualised by Shruti Haasan and the lyrics are penned by Kamal Haasan. On Thursday, Lokesh and Shruti released the teaser of the song and it hinted that it is a romantic track. The video also featured a couple of intimate scenes featuring Shruti and Lokesh.
The video shows Shruti and Lokesh sharing several romantic moments, including teasing each other while they brushed together, getting into little fights at the club and even getting intimate on the couch. The on-screen couple also appeared to be getting married in the music video. The makers revealed that the music video has been produced by Kamal Haasan and R Mahendran, and written by Kamal. The video has been directed by Dwarkesh Prabakar.

The teaser has left fans in shock. Several fans confessed they never thought Lokesh would act with Shruti. “Loki rocked I am shocked," a fan said. “Lokesh Rocked People Are Shocked," added another. “2024 is full of unexpected things," a third fan wrote. “Loki na…… Ne vere dark romantic person…." a fan commented.
Meanwhile, Shruti is rumoured to share the screen with KGF star Yash. The Kannada actor is currently prepping for his upcoming film, Toxic. According to reports, she has joined the cast of the upcoming film Toxic, where she will be starring alongside Yash. The film promises to be an action-packed entertainer, revolving around drug mafia. Set in Goa, the high-budget project is expected to boast grand production values.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the film will reportedly feature Shruti Haasan as the lead actress. The makers are yet to make an official announcement regarding this. It was rumoured that Kareena Kapoor was being considered for the part as well.
On the other hand, Lokesh is preparing for Thalaivar 171 with Rajinikanth.
